Terms of Use

1. Description of Service

ClipNotebook lets you save URLs as visual cards organized into playlists and generate shareable read-only snapshots. No account is required; your notebook is identified by a random id in the URL. The service is completely free.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old or the minimum digital consent age in your jurisdiction to use the Service. By using it you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. User Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of your notebook URL if you consider it private.
• Ensure you have rights to share any link content you distribute.
• Promptly delete links that become inaccurate, unlawful or infringe rights.

4. Acceptable Use

• No uploading or sharing of illegal, hateful, or harmful material.
• No attempts to probe, scan or test platform vulnerabilities without authorization.
• No automated scraping of private snapshot URLs.
• No interference with normal operation (e.g., excessive request flooding).

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of links and descriptive metadata you add. We claim no intellectual property rights over external content you reference. Service code, branding and design elements remain owned by ClipNotebook.

6. Shared Snapshots

When you create a share link, we store a static snapshot. Future edits to the original notebook do not update existing snapshots. Delete sensitive content before generating public links.

7. Termination

We may restrict or remove access to the Service if you breach these Terms or misuse resources. You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting content or discarding the notebook URL.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability or non-infringement. External link previews may be incomplete or outdated.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClipNotebook shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue or goodwill arising from use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms to keep them clear and helpful. We will keep the content focused on what users need. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
